We pulled up in front of Jacks church on Main Street, MAWDS spot for the next 2 nights. It seemed odd but it soon felt like home.
The kids playing in the streets stopped by to meet us. I got lots of pets and Ma answered loads of questions.
Ron the Mayor popped by to say hello and invited us to stop by their home (Peggy & Ron) at the end of the road. Who do you know that lives in an
EATONS CATALOGUE HOUSE
Out back they have a giant lilac bush! Beautiful flowers and a vegee garden just starting.
Peggy told Ma that Jack used flour and made a circle behind their garden so a friend could land his helicopter...only in Harris!!
I loved Peggy & Rons veranda!
Peggy & Ron were leaving to visit their family for the day but made time to chat, show us their home and shared some local stories. They love dogs!

A family new to Harris live in a beautifully renovated church down the street
We rode out back of town but the road is pretty sandy and sinky. The Crystal Beach Game Preserve is right up the road.
I was wondering where the water was at this sandy beach??
Some new worms have come to town and making thousands of these holes
Zoe the friendliest cat in town but Ma wouldn't let me meet her
There is so much more to Harris Saskatchewan....Who knew!
Stay tuned for part 2
Who knew? So much fun, happy friendly Canadians in every town. Clever landing pad 😉. I luv the flowers and raindrops.
