Well Ma's pretty excited to meet up with some of her best buddies in Nova Scotia
First stop is...
Jane and Jasper live right across the road from Wentworth Mountain (ski hill & bike park)
I had no time to pause for photos. I found Wallace River and a great swim hole right behind their house. I told Jasper to follow me but she's kind of shy and said she didn't like the water much??
I came out of the water and gave a big shake! Mostly Jane got hit because if you look closely Jasper is hiding under Janes chair.
Ma & me rode up the mountain so she could check out the downhill bike park
Phew! At least she stayed on a blue run probably equivalent to a Whistler green run. But remember I need to run along, jump over obstacles and go the right way around trees! After all, I am tethered to this 2 wheel beast! At least dogs are allowed...how civalized!
Aah! We've made it back and I'm ready for another swim in the river
Jasper's getting used to us and watching me in the water now. I think she'll come in soon.
Next we were at the ocean Northumberland Strait. I thought for sure she would come with me but before I knew it she snuck back up.
Off to Halifax
Meet Rod & Cheetah
Rod was on Canadas' Paralympic Alpine Ski Team with Ma. They met in '81 and have been friends ever since.
FYI Jane was also on the team as Rod's ski guide
Sir Sandford Fleming Park & Tower
Locals call it "The Dingle"
a beautiful park right across from Rod's home
Us dogs tried to make the photo shoot as difficult as possible....
so they opted for a selfie
After our walk I came right in and took over Cheetahs really comfy bed!
🍾🥂🍾
Jost Vineyards
The gal in the upper right had more than a glass and insisted on standing on a chair to take our photo
Stay tuned...
I can tire anyone out...but now I'm done too
Well I certainly loved our trip to Nova Scotia. Happy Dogs really good friends and now I can put a face to the names I have heard over the past years. I even cried but well that is just joyful happy tears. The best kinds.I am so happy you listened to that bird who suggested to write a blog on this trip. I look forward to the published book. Amazing adventures and photos that just say it all. 💚
