Tribute to a HERO

This stop was a must! I was fortunate to meet Terry Fox just before he started his Marathon of Hope. He was and still is my HERO

I can hardly believe Chessa and I are about to embark on a journey of a life time for almost any Canadian. I certainly can't imagine running, and running on a prosthesis. We will take the easy way and drive MAWD across the country from Mile 0 Victoria British Columbia to Mile 0 St. Johns Newfoundland.

A toe dip into the |Pacific is the next step on this official start. I am not sure why I am wearing clothes and dipping a shoe....really doesn't sound like me does it. It's just that the day really started out cold for the 16th of |April. I just didn't want to catch a cold and being under the weather right at the start.

Empty it then fill with fresh Pacific water
