The Giant has been conquered

There he is...the giant! Laying so quiet, still, majestic and magical.

On our way east we camped at

Ma really wanted to hike the Giant instead we enjoyed his view as we cycled around the Silver Islet and Marie Louise Lake.

This time, on our way west the Giant has been conquered!

Sibylle & Ma cycled the first 6km as I ran. After leaning the bikes against a tree, changing up some shoes and clothing, we started the hike up the Giant 4km to the gorge.

along the flats

I was lucky Sib brought food for me too!

the chipmunks were taunting me so Ma held me tight...it's a long way down

the sun meets the gorge...our timing 'perfect'

Ma and Sib were both happy to ride out!

I had to run the final 6km!!

I did meet a friend up there.

He thought I was a fox!!

My goodness those stairs. Why should giants get to sleep? That looked like one of the best days. Weather, scenery, chipmunks and good pals. Once again bravo my number one inspiration.
